Re: More JavaScript evidence
I've signed up for that site a while back and it is a fun and entertaining way to learn code. Unfortunatently, I've been working on so many projects, I haven't been able to focus on it, but it's always in the back of my mind.  And yes, I believe you can learn multiple languages on it.  Best thing about it, is that it's FREE!

Re: More JavaScript evidence
Yet another JavaScript framework gaining lots of traction is something called Backbone.js. It is described like so:

Backbone.js gives structure to web applications by providing models with key-value binding and custom events, collections with a rich API of enumerable functions, views with declarative event handling, and connects it all to your existing API over a RESTful JSON interface.

I don;t know how many languages you can learn at CodeAcademy.com. But they've done a pretty good job with JavaScript, from what I could tell after 20 minutes with it.

Yeah, it's a fun site, that. Makes me want to quit my day job and write code - almost.

@John, true its very addictive. I will make sure I spend most of the time on this website so that I can improve my coding skills. I believe we can learn all the languages?

And yet another: Meteor, a JavaScript framework that's getting much attention.
